How to recover my pin for my lost windows phone in order to lock it

I lost my phone sometime back and I went online on Microsoft site in order to find it. When I clicked on the lock my phone link it brought a section where I filled in details such as phone number and other details. On the part it was asking for a 6-digit pin but I don't remember putting one. Please help.
