How to save password in IE on wp?

How can you save a password for a login on a web page via internet explorer on your windows phone, e.g. for amazon or facebook and so on?

Thanks for posting this. I too am wondering how to get IE on WP to save passwords.

Normally it should be automatically asking your if you want to save it when you log into places.

If it doesn't check settings and stuff. Maybe under "sync my settings" it needs "Passwords" to be synced. (pretty sure it requires a passcode on the phone)

Where do you have this setting option - I can't find it

P.s. My lumia doesn't ask me anything regarding the passwords, when I use them.

This is an 8.1-only feature.

Whoops, jhoff is right, I didn't realize you were possibly talking about Windows Phone 8.0.
Password syncing among others is an 8.1+ feature.

That's strange because it was promoted as a WP8 IE feature long before news of 8.1 ever went public.

Since a few days I have wp 8.1 now and xandros9 is right, this feature (saving passwords in IE) is available via wp 8.1 - so wp 8.0 doesn't have this feature.
