How to see Animations (GIFs) in Windows Phone?

Any Animated GIF will not show the animation when opened in the Photos Hub! I download so many animations from internet in phone IE browser, but it does not play in the Photos Hub. Kindly help how to solve this issue? :-/
Been seeing this issue since WP8 days in my L920 (Currently running 8.1.1 PDP).

Hmm, have you tried opening the files from the files app? Or perhaps look for an app in the store that reads GIF

I don't think it's possible to read GIF on WP. :/

Well no such app in store. Files app not of any help for this issue either.
