How to turn off an alarm I did not set

Thanks for answering but I went to apps settings for alarms and clock and hit "reset" (the only choice available) and it did not work. It sounds just like an electronic timer beeping for about 1 minute every day. If I delete this app, will that delete my clock on the taskbar? Even though my sound is off, I can hear it.

Is it a continuous ring? if not, it could be a reminder set via Cortana or there might be an app which triggers this (settings > apps)
