This would be a great solution for my home computer if not for the fact that all the baked in ads and offensive AI garbage means I'll be skipping Windows 11 entirely at home.

What I really need/want is a solution that will work on my Enterprise laptop where Windows 11 is inevitable. 3rd party solutions like this are almost completely unavailable in that environment and after 20+ years of using a vertical taskbar, being forced to use a bottom mounted one is like have water stuck in my ear at all hours of the day.

I still can't believe Microsoft hasn't fixed this incredibly stupid and frankly offensive omission in their 'built from the ground up' new taskbar. I can't tell whether there just aren't any competent devs left at Microsoft or if they really just don't care at all about making a quality product. This situation, the constant serious bugs with every update to Windows 11, and the situation with New Outlook honestly support both conclusions. The enshittification proceeds apace.
