Hows the band

I would absolutely LOVE a Microsoft band. I was looking at them in then mall the other day... So my question is for all you Band owners is, is it worth the $200?

I love my band. Wear it daily and have no real 'issues' with it. Do I think it is worth $200? The parts and sensors inside of it are probably worth $200, what the future will be for this device will probably be worth $200, but the current experience I get from the device is not worth $200. There are many threads about the cool things and minor issues and setbacks people are running into.

In my opinion, if you have $200 to spend and you want something neat and useful get the Band. If $200 is a good chunk of change for you then I would probably hold off for now.

Depends if you afford it - compared to say an Apple watch ;-) - that only works with an iPhone. I have had a couple of Samsung Gears and hated them - they didn't work well and required a Samsung phone.

I love my band, it works well for a Gen1 device and works (to various degrees) with Android and iOS. It's not a watch - although it tells the time and lasts a couple of days with average use. It's not App bloated... oh and I believe it works better than a certain smartwatch with tattoos or dark skin ;-)

It is ugly and some people don't like the way it fits. For me, the fit is comfortable, if a bit bulky - you get use to it.

Is it worth $200 (or approx $270 here in UK), yes.
