HP Omni 10, considering.....

Thinking about getting one, as Office Depot has them for $199 now.....

Was hoping to find some info here about them.... reviews on Amazon seem to be more issues with the complexity of Windows 8 than the actual hardware.

Seems OK.

Just make sure to check out other options like the similarly equipped yet smaller 8" tablets (which can sometimes be found for less) and other competitors.

I'm skeptical of HP, but eh, not all things they make are lemons, so I can't say.

It runs windows 8.1 just fine, I've had no problems during normal operation with it. However, I've had to reset it twice as it suddenly had erratic and non responsive behavior for an unknown reason.

Storage is an issue, MS really needs to let us store apps on the SD card. Once you have windows, office and a few apps you run out of room. I got it last spring for $300 and it's been great for the price but that might not be the case Vs something that came out more recently.
