HP Spectre Pro x360 and the HP Spectre x360? Does anyone know the difference between the two? I searched but couldn't find any information.

Yes it is dead.

Where are you seeing a reference to a Spectre pro? I just purchased an x360 from the MS store, and I'd be interested to know about this pro version, if there is one.

HP Spectre Pro x360 G1. is just an extended official name of HP spectre x360. nothing else. if you look at the details and specs here its just the same.. there is no pro version and non pro version..in the link it says HP Spectre Pro x360 G1 comes with either i5 or i7, 4GB RAM or 8GB.
Actually, based on the document that you helpfully linked (and thanks for that, btw), the "Pro" version is, indeed, very slightly different from the Specter x360 'vanilla' product. The "Pro" version adds Intel's vPro management technology to the laptop. The 'vanilla' x360 does not have that.

With that said, do I think that there any reason for anyone here to really get excited about it? Nah. :)

Refer to this link to read about this a bit:
