HTC 8S Getting GDR2 Update!

Hi VisualTech48 here, I got the GDR2 Update today. Phone feels faster, more responsive, Radio is available and more.

COMFIRMED: It's the GDR2 Update!
Coomfirmed Carriers: Si.Mobil, T-Mobile(Poland), VIP, Vodafone(Greece), T-Mobile(Croatia)

HTC's clean temporary files (You need the HTC Make More Space app) :


Try to go "Search for update" manualy on the phone update section in settings.
Stay tunned for news.


Features list:

• Data sense is not available for us. (At least for me).
• Radio is available.
• Skype performance is really good.
• Camera lenses update doesn't seem to work.
• Internet explorer is faster, HTML5 Support is comfirmed
• XBox Music is better.

No, I'm from Poland.

And one nice thing I have noticed... the built-in camera application is much faster than before.

Download the HTC "Get more space" application and the magic wand is there ;-)
... but don't expect miracles with the "other" folder ;-)

did you check the xbox music app? It could be because you have the 8s. I'm an 8x owner and i have it on my device.

yeah, i did. but, i've just checked, and there's another phone update, so maybe it'll be available once it's installed.

Yes I can confirm it for the 8S from Slovenian carrier Si.Mobil, yesterday my friend received the update. No issues with rebooting or anything else.
