htc 8x build quality

Hi I recently bought a HTC 8x and it has slight screen lift issue in the bottom left corner and the plastic on the left side seems a little creaky. Are all HTC 8x phones like this and how does the phone survive wear and tear through several months as I have heard several posts about paint peeling and discoloration.

The screen bit is a known issues if you can get it exchanged to for it.

I've had the 8x now for over 2 months now and have had now issues with it. It's survived several drops and i have a cheap case on it. If you have screen lift get it replaced.
