Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me, please.

I'm trying to transfer songs from my PC to my HTC 8X and as far as I checked on both the explorer and the windows phone app, this is working.

The problem is that when I go to "Music" on my HTC, it says that the phone has no songs.. I tried to go to ringtones to see if they were at least recognized there, but they aren't also.

I've tried several times to connect my phone to my pc and when I go to the explorer and open the music folder, my musics are all in there.

Am I missing something? Is this usuall? How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help!

The only thing I can think of for the phone to not recognise the songs is if they have any sort of DRM attached to them or they aren't in one of these formats:

3G2, AAC, AAC LC, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, HE-AAC v1, HE-AAC v2, M4A, MP3, MP4, WMA 10 Pro, WMA 9

They are on MP3 format.

I tried one more time and now I can see the songs on my phone, but when I try to play them it says that the phone can't play these files and the error code is 8007002..

Non standard bitrate?
Does 8x play VBR MP3s?
I haven't tested music with my 8X

What bitrate are the mp3s?
