Htc 8x on Verizon and the 8.1 update

I have not noticed anything different from the dp version. Anyone else?

If your phone was on 8.10.14219.341 preview with firmware 3030.0.41301.605 then I believe the only change is getting the new firmware 3030.0.52009.605 through the update. The new firmware fixes the clock on the HTC hub tile and a few other things.

The question I have is why it appears that some HTC 8X phones on 8.10.14219.341 developer preview with firmware 3030.0.41301.605 are not downloading the new 3030.0.52009.605 firmware through the Verizon update.

Mine isn't picking it up. I turn off PfD and on, and no update. Still on firmware version 3030.0.41301.605. I'm wondering if its because I don't have a sim card in. The 8x is my test/backup phone. Maybe ill try popping my Icon's sim in later.

This isn't the first time I've missed an update since being on the preview. My phone skipped the firmware update last time as well. I'll keep waiting... It's actually fine by me as I will have less time to wait for 10 to finally come.

I downloaded 8.1 on my wife's 8X a few days ago, no do. The phone now has an issue where it constantly shuts itself down. Any ideas?

I guess at this point one can assume that HTC 8X Windows Phones 8.1.1 running Developer Preview will NOT be getting the HTC 3030.0.52009.605 firmware.

My HTC 8x on Developers Preview was updated to the newest firmware. Only thing that changed was the HTC Clock/Weather/News App. If you have the DP running you aren't missing anything that I am aware of.

I'm still waiting. Verizon told me that the rollout would take place over two weeks, and that I should cool my jets until the 26th. I'm hoping to get the update within 24 hours. Anyone else still waiting?
