[htc 8XT] 8.1 GDR1?

Hey 8xt folks,

Anyone try the new update? I've got it available on my phone, but after all the buzz about 8x and 8s, I'm worried about installation.

I'd install it. Should be fine, Microsoft had a good look at all three HTC phones, the 8S was the only failure.

I'm not aware of any 8XT phones getting GDR1...we all stopped at the .899 update which is a bug fix for 8.1 DP...not GDR1.

We''re waiting for HTC firmware updates like the 8X folks.

Well seeing as we now have the first 8.1.1 update...

I still have the WiFi issue, it only stays connected when the phone is plugged in. Will this not be resolved until HTC finishes its own software tweaks when Windows Phone 8.1 officially ships out (hopefully) in November?
