HTC Camera app store weirdness anyone seeing this?

I periodically check the store to see that (hopefully) htc has updated their really buggy HTC Camera app version 1.0.0. The reviews for the app have some odd things. Specifically people talking about seeing an update available, and uninstalling and re-installing to get the update. I see people that show version 1.1.0 and people that have version 2.0.0 listed in the comments??? This has to be an error with the store. When i look at the apps description it says its version 1.0.0 and hasn't been updated since AUG.

Anyone know whats going on?

The article doesn't mention that this update also includes the ability to take pictures during normal video recording.

The HTC Camera app is now 2.0 in the store. I guess all of you know that but not a word has been written. Strange. Maybe this forum is now dead.

The article doesn't really mention much of anything, says we need to find out on our own. I found out that we now have full manual controls like the lumia camera! I sent a tip to daniel but he didn't seem to think it was much of a story :|

? My M8 always let me take photos during video recording, before the update.
