HTC S8 memory

Can someone help me? I have HTC S8 and he always show me full phone memory notification. When I go to settings and phone storage, there I saw that more than 1.3gb is taken by apps and games. I have 4 applications and 2 games installed on phone, so whats the problem? Anyway, I removed 3 applications and there is now about 1.25 gb phone usage by apps and games. Can someone tell me what takes that phone storage and how can I fix the problem? Thanks!

Well, to boot, the HTC 8S has a dinky amount of memory at 4 GB. I would check phone storage to see whats taking up space. Number of apps is irrelevant, its how much space each one uses. I had a couple dozen apps on my Palm PDA with 64 MB of memory once, and one high end game today can take several hundred megabytes to over a gigabyte.

a practical solution could be updating to Windows Phone 8.1 via the Developer Preview program and obtaining a large enough SD card. (8.1 allows apps and games among other stuff to be stored on the SD card.)
