HTC Surround LED notification?

I let someone borrow my HTC Surround for like 2 weeks and when I got it back, I noticed the LED notification wasnt working..

now I could have sworn there was an LED notification.. Isnt there?

Not for much. I've only seen mine blink red when the battery's really low. Otherwise, solid reg when charging, green when charged.

*edit* I wish it did. One of the few things I miss from my bberrys.

It also blinks for short while if you get a missed call.
