html5 youtube not working

Make sure in your IE setting, you are setup to view the desktop version of the page and not the mobile version.

Watching over WiFi or 3G. Could be a carrier restriction.

do you have any 3rd party Youtube Apps installed? Edit: I think you need the Microsoft Youtube from Marketplace.

Its works for me too, btw. I have a Titan also.

Just tried this on my Omnia. It works fine if you have settings set to the Desktop version. I don't have any YouTube app installed - you don't need them with Mango. But with the settings on Mobile version, my normal, this link doesn't work, but normal youtube does.

OK I've changed to desktop version and now the player loads up but says "Sorry, we can't play this file on your phone"

Is this the iPad that falls from space? I remember I had to watch it on my PC because it didn't work on my phone. If it's the same video, that is.

The video worked for me on my AT&T HTC Titan. Very cool video, btw!

On my Radar 4G it failed to load the video, saying I needed an HTML5 compatible browser. I switched the IE settings to view the desktop version instead of the mobile version and the video played fine.

I was having the same problems so I tried the desktop and it made me download the YouTube app for some videos, others played fine. Not the ideal solution but if that's what works then I'll do it.

Just got my samsung focus S and html5 not working for YouTube content on severa
l websites. Can someone try this page mislares.com and try and watch their videos on main page or any other video on their entertainment channel mislares.com/olimpiadas.php. That particular page has embedded YouTube videos for previous Olympic games and track events.
Let me Know if anyone has any luck. I use that website a lot on my laptop for entertainment. Really wish I could find a way to use it on my new phone. Thanks!

By the way, it tells me to learn about upgrading to html5 browser which it doesn't make sense... I have wind 7.5 with full html5 on my Samsung focus S

That site for some reason does not work while This one and the desktop YouTube works fine. It might be that the videos on that site are using the new webM format that google stupidly created.
