Huge data usage question???

[Windows Central Question]

Just reconnected my Ethernet less than 24 hours ago and already it is showing that I used 44.93 Gb, were I have only used 25.64 GB this hole month on just wifi... What is going on as we have a cap on how much data we can use each month and this is getting out of hand.
