Trying to use my Pro 4 as my one machine, but for this I need a separate Windows 10 VM (to install some rubbish software to connect to my work). Thought this would be easy, but can't seem to get internet access through Wi-fi or Ethernet (dock). I've created the hyper v switch (tried internal and external) and mapped my VM to it and enabled (or not) connection sharing, but the VM is fine except for no internet. Also trying this stuff usually ends up with me losing all internet access on the Pro - keep ending up with a "no protocols found" error or no wifi options at all - a combination of rebooting and enabling/disabling usually fixes it. I'm probably doing something daft, but any ideas much appreciated!

Did you turn on Internet sharing on the Host?

Go to bottom and look at Kari's post in Ten Forums to make sure you did not miss a step...

Thanks Boltman 2013 - I was following those instructions (amongst others). Finally got it working by doing a restore to a few days ago. Must have broken something in one of my attempts... Anyway, all good now. Cheers!
