Hyperlapse for Icon

Well that didn't last... after waiting for support, Hyperlapse mobile (one of my favorite apps) has been pulled from the Windows 10 Mobile Store (the only store now available in build 10166) :crying:

Store info had listed "no longer available" but now is not even showing up at all.

PSA: Do not uninstall or reset your Icon if on Windows 10 mobile or the app will disappear!

Can you side load the app? You should go to the web version of the Windows Phone store on your laptop or desktop and download it that way.

Try this link:

https://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/hyperlapse-mobile/35781f83-3495-4204-b994-e939c0b29000

It should allow you to download it and then you can upload it to your phone and then install it.

I had not tried that yet, and saw the sideload option recently. Man I haven't sideloaded an app since I first had my Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich...will report back.

Can't get WinApp to find my Icon...so no luck with the sideload as of yet. Have you ha any luck with sideloading of apps? It is possible to not do it over wireless and do it over USB?

Try uploading it to your Icon via USB using Windows Explorer. There is a downloads folder you can drop it into it. The store app should have a install from local option (WP8.1 version does). If it does, it looks in the downloads folder.

I've done before and managed to get it to work.

I downloaded it straight from the Windows Store as suggested and was able to install it from the Files app, but after launch it is coming up with a "problem with app" message and only gives me an option to uninstall or buy. Buy doesn't do anything unfortunately...hope they add it back to the W10 store soon!

Ok. I hope they get it back up soon. You would think that Microsoft would at least have its own apps W10M ready... I understand non-Microsoft developers not quite being ready, but Microsoft should have had its apps ready. Especially, if they want to try to increase device sales.

New version of Hyperlapse mobile just dropped but I rolled back to 8.1...anyone rocking the W10 10166 build? If so can you look to see if it is supported or installable?

Thanks,

A.

I dont see the Hyperlapse available yet for W10. I did get many other Microsoft updates though.

So...good news! With all of the updates to the mobile store etc. Hyperlapse is available in the updated mobile store and is now fully working!
