I had an IMAP mail account. "upgraded" to New Outlook. No new emails were reaching the inbox.

I checked all settings. Still the same. Went back to Old Outlook: all emails from last week appeared immediately. Some, of people asking why I didn't reply yet,

Are you friggin serious?! Or trolling? See the official Microsoft forum on the "new Outlook" and all of the HUNDREDS upon hundreds of issues/complaints.

The new Outlook is a multitude of steps backwards by 20 years, and it's scary. Just browse through the many pages of missing things and removal of so many useful features.

You can't be serious.

Try eM Client instead. With the new version 10 it outperforms the new Outlook in every way and it is a true desktop native application.
