I cant receive notification from whatsapp , wechat , FB messenger after update

After update my Lumia 920 to wp8.1 , I cant receive any notification from whatsapp , wechat , FB messenger etc
any one who have the solution ?

Same here. So annoying. It worked for awhile right after update, then stopped. I'm assuming is the app problem. I guess we have to wait for app update.

My FB messages aren't coming in to the messaging like they use to. I actually have to go into the FB app

And if you'd read some of the vast amounts of coverage on the update, you would have expected this top happen by design. You would also know that Facebook chat may soon be removed from the app in favour of the Facebook chat app, as it has been on IOS and android at the will of Facebook.

Same here with wechat. I don't even see it in the notification list in settings now. I sent them a message from the app about it, I suggest doing the same. I'm assuming it's a problem on the app makers part and it just needs to be updated since I am still getting notifications from textnow and QQ.

I am experiencing this too with Facebook Messenger. Definitely doesn't notify me when phone is locked.

HAve you restarted the phone?

Try a soft reset first.

Same thing here on the L521 my tap notifications do no work sometimes. Other times they only show on the lock screen. It also seems VERY laggy. Reminds me of my android days...

Do you guys have data sense enabled and set a limit? If so, that could be the cause, I noticed that I do not receive push notifications over cellular when I am over my limit set in data sense, even if the setting is disabled.

WEchat needs updated, as does Whatsapp. If you have the latest facebook release (not the beta), it works great.

I have also noticed the same issue. A soft reset solves the issue for sometime but turning mobile data on/off , it becomes the same. Right now the notifications are working for me..

Same here. Works very well for a while, but since last week I have problems with Whatsapp notifications.

But my girlfriend have a Iphone 5s and have the same issues since last week.

As mentioned earlier, turn the phone off and turn it back on (i.e. hold down the power button and swipe down on the phone screen...) This needs to be done especially after a soft reset (vol down + power button).
