I cant upgrade windows 8

[Windows Central Question]

I have just re started my computer back to factory settings. I now want to upgrade windows 8 to 8.1. I have tried multiple times and always get the wasn't installed answer I have updated all windows updates and disabled my virus protection and I still cant update to windows 8.1

News is that Microsoft has dropped support for Windows 8.1 so I would personally and professionally recommend upgrading to Windows 10 if you can. Here is the article about the discontinued support. Microsoft to drop support for Windows 8.1 | Windows Central
