Tried that too. It doesn't make much difference with the mechanical OIS.

But I have figured out how to get the best out it now...for slow movement shots, I think this camera will be boss!

Eww, I just tried it out and you're right, it's pretty bad. Hopefully Nokia will release a software or firmware update to improve how much and when the OIS compensates, because yeah, it looks nasty at present...
