I finally gone against my better judgment and took 1520 home.

I bought 920 on the release date back in 2012 and love it. I wanted to upgrade my phone everytime Nokia released a new flagship Lumia, 1020, 1520 and 930 but didn't. The latest one was released in Thailand last Monday and I think it's a good time to upgrade my 920 to 930. I ended up, however, with a lot older model 1520.

I told myself 1520 is nearly a year old model. It and 1020 might due to update by the end of this year. I should wait. There is no logical buying 1520 today and see 1530 announces tomorrow. But then again, it took almost 2 years to release the 920 successor. I can't wait that long. Blah blah blah....

Yesterday, I wished 1530 is released today. Today, I wish 1530 will not going to release anytime soon. Kinda selfish I know.

Do you live in the Philippines? There was a huge 70% off sale here for the 1520 which made me feel the same way as you did. I thought, "September is coming soon....should I wait for a newer Lumia?" But this opportunity was too great and so I went for the 1520.

I live in Thailand. The price drop from $830 to $630 which is only 24% off. But I also got Nokia d19 power bank and coloud headphone for free which are worth about $90 all together. Oh and some kind of extra insurance that I wouldn't count on. A really good deal but not as good as yours mate.

A yellow one. There isn't yellow flip case to go with at the store I visited. I end up with a yellow phone in a red case. Love it.
