I got a Nokia Lumia 830, why has my screen gone dark and is hard to see?

i got a nokia lumia 830 screen hard to see

my screen went dark and hard to see and the phone gets hot,phone is only month old any ideas of what the trouble is

Was your battery low? (if your phone got hot, it was probably doing some serious work for a while)

Battery Saver will dim the screen brightness when your battery is below 20% to make it last longer. You can go into settings->display to change that, or settings->battery saver to disable battery saving features completely.

Sounds like the leds went out, you should warranty it.
