I have a doubt.

When i am downloading update for my Lumia 820, it get stopped. Now i want to know is the download starts from beginning or continue from where i stopped??

It depends on how it stopped. But, there should be a chance to continue from where it stopped. This happens if it stopped because you got disconnected from Wi-Fi.

It will decrease when the OS algorithms concludes it needs space, its sorta been fixed in GDR2

Have patience on the Other Storage. After updating to Amber it can take about two weeks for it to sort out.

There are strategies listed in other threads to accelerate the process -- just give it a little time. .
