I have a Lumia 830 phone. How do i get rid of Cortana so I can use Bing search?

I have a Lumia 830 phone. How do i get rid of Cortana so I can use Bing search.

I prefer looking up info on Bing. I try to on IE but it just jumps to Cortana wanting me to use her. Most times I am in an office setting. I don't want to say out loud what I want and I don't want others to hear an answer. It's disturbing others.

Switch off location or in the settings, swipe left and go to Cortana and turn off.

Cortana is Bing, the search interface isn't too different, and if you type questions to her, she responds silently.

Settings > applications (swipe right in 8.1 Update 1 and below) > Cortana

just kidding, but yeah, typing your search criteria gives you silent replies.
