i have a new 550 as a work phone but the people app crashes everytime

as soon as I open the people app, its empty so I press the add button and it crashes, I have tried calling it then trying to add a new contact through that route but it crashes doing it that way too. what can I do?

Your phone probably needs to update it's core apps. The apps that are included with the Lumia 550 are old and full of bugs.

Make sure to log into the phone using a Microsoft account (e.g. Hotmail or outlook account). Then go to the 'store' app, it should find and install all of the required app updates.
