Not what I expected. 920 image actually looks better. the 1020 image has more noise to it.

No your not. It has to do with the sensor of the 1020. they made it smaller then the sensor of the 808 so the pixels are smaller which introduces noise to the picture.

I would like to see a comparison between the PVW 808 and the Lumia 1020.. To really see who is the best 41MP in the Old Texas!! Don't you have one (an 808) too?

thanks for the pictures! i really hope they have finalized more/tweaked the software processing of the 1020 before final release, or at worst, even it goes retail with that noise, that they can soon after issue fix, much like they did with my beloved 808 in its early infancy, really want this to be my first WP device!

Me either.. I was considering buying the Lumia 1020, but with these nahh I will buy an used 920 for $200 and a used PVW 808 for $350 Then I'll have both a camera and a WP
