I have a phone call problem with my 920

When I try to use my phone during a phone call, the phone stays blacked out and blinks on then off several times. 90% of the time it does this, and I've tried wiping the screen clean, lowering the touch screen sensitivity, and also a restart. To no avail, it continues to bug as previously mentioned. Anyone with this issue please let me know how you go about repairing the problem. Thanks again!
