Vista is not eligible for the Windows 10 upgrade. You'll need to get an upgrade to Windows 7, 8.x, or 10.

Tread carefully.

To get a free upgrade to 10, you need either 7 w/ SP1 (service pack 1) or 8.1.

Don't be tempted by offers for "System Builder" editions for distribution with "refurbished PC." Looks like a deal, but it won't upgrade to 10 for free.




Since the price of a valid install disk w/ key for 7 is about the same price... Just buy 10.
