Did you ever get it, try this I did at least get a confirmation number and said I would be hearing something from them 3-5 days done with live chat, hope it works he told me the promotional emailing would normally stop on the 31st, but the code would be good for quite awhile.
received a code by reporting the issue in a chat session with Microsoft!
How to:
On the Windows Phone support page choose "Microsoft account" as category and click the "contact us" button below "Still have questions". From the next page, start a chat and explain the problem. They will take your problem to a senior team and usually they get back to you within 3 to 4 days. Well, that was the explanation I got. But a day later I received a mail with a code!
