I think I figured out how we can make homebrew work on windows phone 8

Microsoft has introduced this new feature called the "company hub". This allows individual companies to set up their own private app store. Well, I looked into the process, and it seems like Microsoft doesn't do testing on internal applications.

Which means, if we have a "company", we can literally have our own internal homebrew app store.

that's a bunch of BS that you can only get a signed cert from Symantec, and they want $300 frickin bucks whereas most enterprise certs cost half that. After reading through all the requirements....what a bozo implementation Microsoft,could you make it more cumbersome or a turnoff than iOS or Android? Oh I know what they will say "this is more secure" but most small to medium sized companies just don't care.

I personally think this is great for homebrew though, You need a cert, and a server backend, but than, you can create your own app store
