I uninstalled windows 10, Why does it keep trying to reinstall itself

I installed windows 10 a week ago. I did not like it . It was too complicated for me and I didn't have time to spend trying to learn all the new changes. I un-installed it a few days ago. It keeps popping up telling me my windows 10 is ready to be installed. It also is installing new updates even though it is uninstalled. I have windows 8.1. I am trying to find out how to stop the installing and popups.
