I want to upgrade from an unlicensed Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 but have no key. How can I get the key?

I want to upgrade from an unlicensed windows 7 pro to windows 10 but have no key.

I have tried to setup windows 10 from my pen drive, but the setup keeps asking me for a key. as my copy of the existing windows 7 is unlicensed the key is not accepted. Is it still possible to upgrade or should i stick with windows 7.

Stick with Windows 7 and ensure that you're correctly licensed before moving on to Windows 10.
