I am probably going to upgrade from my SP1 to a new SP3 i5 version. I only really need the 128 GB version but I would really like the 8GB of ram. I was just wondering if it would be worth the extra $300 if I'm not going to use 256GB. Any thoughts?

Tomorrow it's another day. What you don't think you need today, you might need tomorrow. If you can afford it, go for it, but if you really can't, then skip it. I always want the best, and the fastest, but only buy what I can afford.
