Idea 3g (delhi ncr) not working on WP8.1 dp

3g on my Lumia 720 not working keeps on showing E.
When I subscribed for 3g pack and did the settings, it worked for almost a week, after that it's automatically to E.
I tried almost everything but it's stuck to Edge.:unhappysweat:

Do you have highest connection speed set to 3G ?

Try other 3g Simcards of other service providers like Airtel, Vodafone etc so that you can try to find from which end is the problem.

Yes all the settings are perfect, it worked for a week on the same settings, then i updated to WP8.1 and still it worked for a day or 2 then surprisingly it went into Edge and is not leaving that E, before it was H or H+

I miss the speed..

lets preform a soft reset by holding volume down + lock button at the same time until your phone vibrates and reboot itself.(This will not erase your phone data )

You should now visit Idea care centre. It was working fine on my Lumia 920 when it was on windows phone 8.1

hi in cellular+sim i mean data settings please check your maximum speed is it 3g or 2g. I also have IDEA (Hyderabad) its working fine with me....

It works perfectly on airtel and Vodafone Sim (Mumbai). I think it's the problem with idea itself one of my friend uses IDEA and he has the same problem as yours he has NL720 too.

I think you are right, I tried with airtel sim and it worked well.

try flght mode on and off. that refeshes your signals.

Finally, got it working, it's something with phone and something with idea network.
Idea do not have it's own 3g in delhi ncr, vodafone provides it for idea customers.

You will have to put data roaming options to ROAM and manually select a forbidden IDEA connection by searching it in networks.

That's it. Hope it helps others.

i have the same problem with Airtel when i have 2g i get H,H+ connection and then after 1 month it went to E . i activated 3G and i get E, when i insert another sim like idea is shows H+ and speed was pretty good but airtel always shows E and when i insert my airtel sim to another phone it shows E . airtel guys says everything is fine from there end. i have lumia 525 8.1 DP and anyone upgraded cyan in 525 ?

This worked perfectly. I'm having 730. And I had the same problem. I changed to roaming and selected Vodafone in my mobile network and H+ started to show up. Thank you very much . I have no idea how idea s working in vodofone network

I have the same problem idea 2g works fine with E edge symbol on top but when i search for 3g networks idea 3g is not shown and when selecting vodafone in 3g(forbidden) its not registering.
