IE Search Results Look Weird - White Background - HTC 8X

Hi all,

My HTC 8X is now showing weird search results. Instead of the usual black background with white text I get this:



Also, when I swipe to local and media I get the same results screen.

Any ideas? If this was on a PC I'd suspect a browser hijack.

yup - restarting, saying a prayer etc. The usual

Odd. I don't have that. Maybe it's a consequence parts of Bing changing.

Ok, that's strange... If you don't get any other tips and this is a big deal for you, you could try a hard reset. that'll probably help, but it'll delete all data on your phone.

The issue is that the Bing app in the OP's phone is returning results as a HTML page when it should be a proper list. Clearly, the Bing app on his phone is somehow screwed.
