Hi, hope some one can help, I had ie9 installed and it was running fine, I then run a scan with Advanced Window Care the free version, a programme I had used for a number of years with no problem, but this time after running the scan I was unable to open ie9, I uninstalled and reinstalled ie9 but it makes no difference I still cannot open ie9. I have since uninstalled Advanced Window Care.
Has anyone any suggestions.

Try System Restore.

And technically this is the wrong forum for Windows 7 questions.

I've never used Advanced Windows Care before so I don't know what it did to your system or if it was due to something else. However, you can always try Microsoft Answers or the Tech Support Forum. Unless one of our fine gents here know the answer and is willing to help. :)

Strange that someone would choose to post an IE9 question here, but just general advice that users avoid running all those "care" and "clean" and "speed-up" and "check" and "test" and "fix" etc. programs that are pushed in all sorts of ways out there. Avoid, especially, web-based "checks".
