If I factory reset from WP 8.1, will it take me back to WP8? (nokia lumia 1502)

Okay so I have an at&t nokia lumia 1520 and I chose to downgrade from the DP to windows phone 8 to get windows phone 8.1 and lumia cyan. Once I'm at windows phone 8.1 with cyan, if I factory reset my phone will it revert back to windows phone 8 or stay at windows phone 8.1?

Thank you, I hoped so, since I'm downgrading to upgrade. I'd figure I'd start with a fresh install

What ever OS and firmware you have on your phone before you do the hard reset, that will remain on your phone.
