If I flash europe ROM on US At&t Lumia 830, will I still have LTE

I have a Lumia 830 from At&t, and since At&t have refused to update to Lumia Denim.
I want to flash a ROM (from europe) so I can get Denim.
Will this affect if I get LTE or not? since most european L830 ROMs are 4G (not LTE)
or it doesn't matter? It's a hardware thing?

there might be no LTE option in the settings,do research some european models of the 830 having LTE and that they have got denim.I would instead recommend to update via preview for developers How to download the free Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for developers | NDTV Gadgets

Apparently (according to someone here who knows a lot about Windows Phone ROMS) you can not cross flash to another RM model with any current ATT phones including the 830 RM-983.
