If WP8 gets big, do you think Samsung comes in and bulldoze Nokia out the way?

People seem to live with Galaxies short comings (cheap feeling plastic etc). They will make a nice light phone with 1080p, and if WP8 is big they will ADVERTISE Nokia out of the way.

They just have too much money lol.

Yes they will. I for one am one of the masses that love Samsung products #note2 . BUT... Will be loyal to the Lumia brand because it IS pure quality. #lumia928

Yes, most likely. Unfortunately. Best case scenario, Samsung gets half and Nokia gets half. Worst case scenario, the current Android situation is replicated.

this is how a customer will think
Nokia's hardware > Samsung's hardware.

Same operating system + best hardware =
Same operating system + bad hardware =

Samsung's hardware breaks fast and their screen scratch way faster than the current Lumias and Ashas. (even the Samsung Ativ S has a fragile hardware)

Samsung obviously has a loyal following for producing good products at affordable prices (relative to the features they offer). But Nokia has a loyal following too, for producing top-notch quality hardware and the best cameras in the business. Being that WP8 is not customizable by the OEMs, what can Samsung offer to buyers other than light, plastic phones with inferior hardware. I can't see it happening.

Lower prices. Samsung can and will beat you on prices.

People seem to love large screen, lightweight plastic devices at a affordable price.

Unfortunately WP will never be big and Samsung goes where the money is. You'll just get the token phone from them here and there

Highly doubt it. The reason Samsung thrives right now is the lack of competition. In the WP space they have very stiff competition from Nokia with their photography technology and now them being in every price range and starting to expand into ginormous screen sizes, I don't think Samsung will be able to bulldoze their way into the WP ecosystem like they did with Android.

Elop was wrong in saying that Samsung would have dominated Andriod with no room for others, samsung is dominating with those galaxy crap because competition is no good, if I twist the OPs question other way around, nokia would have bulldozed their way into Android with their build quality & innovation.

absolutely, currently, the low-end of Samsung sucks, so there'll be reasonable for Samsung support low-end WP8 devices. Right now, Samsung has no low-end WP8 devices in the market, but no one know in the futures

Won't happen.

For one, Nokia is over 80% of Windows Phone. Therefore, if WP "gets big," then Nokia also "gets big."

Not that Nokia isn't already big. Because they are. They are still one of the biggest and most trusted names in mobile. They're just going through a transition period. But don't be fooled into thinking that they're some small player that can be easily swept aside.
