Image >2MB upload error on WC forums

Hi,

I've come across what possibly is a bug tat drives me nuts on WC forums. The title says it all.

steps taken trying to resolve:
1. cleared cache
2. tried different browser
3. tried different PC

the only thing that helps literally is resizing the picture to fit under two MBs, which blows when one tries to boast about their L830's amazing camera. rly: I haven't seen anyone else have the same problem, so it appears to be just me. Somebody please help, I'm clueless :wink:

Looks like James has weighed in on that... 2MB was a universal forum limit, I thought. I frequently have to resize pics to get them to upload and it is rather frustrating at times, but I understand the board has to monitor and conserve storage capacity.

It seems we may have gotten a bump so the OP can post larger file sizes... I've got a ton of Hig Res pics from Italy I can play with to test the new limit size. At a guess it is now 3MB

Testing High Res 16MP original at 4.55MB file size, 5376 x 3024 pixels... Fail.

Testing at resize=90% with a file size of 3.28MB, 4838 X 2722 pixels...



And we're in. Open the above picture in a separate browser window for the most detailed view.
