Image resolution ? How to change it ?

Wanna change a image of 1200x720 into 480x480 or 500X500.
How to do it within the PC.
My PC model yr : 2005.
Last OS supports : windows 7.
Suggest me how to change
ex: "1200 x 800" to 800x800??

Any photo editing software. Hell you can even crudely do it with Paint by setting the page resolution to whatever you'd like it to be, and then pasting and resizing the source image.

My favorite free photo editing software is GIMP, bit more advanced than MS Paint.

GIMP you can actually set pixel sizes, but be careful, it will stretch or compress based on your pixel count and redo the image. GIMP is like free photoshop, but not as good. but MS Paint will get you there as well by changing the quality and it was I use for most quick forum type file size changes.

You don't need software for this if you're just doing a few.

Run a Bing search for "online image resizer" and you'll get websites that'll do all the hard work for you.

http://www.picresize.com/ is the first one in the list...
