In asphalt 8, my friends and I are trying to connect through the local wifi section but are unable.

in the local wifi section when I create the room my friends are unable to join since it keeps loading forever. No progress whatsoever. Why is this? any sololution? when one creates the room we either don't see it and when we do, the connection just keeps loading forever.
