In WP8.0 you could disable XBox Music/Games.. still possible?

In WP8.0 you could disable XBox Music and Xbox Games stuff to safe battery. It was a setting. The setting is gone, is there a way to disable this stuff, or does it not drain when you don't use it?

i was also wondering how to do that. this obviously uses more battery

You mean, that they're running in the background? Should be still in the Energy Saver options.
