Increased tiles for WXGA and 720p phones?

Is this actually making the tiles less pixels or changing the dpi of the UI?

I would also cross my fingers for 1280x768 but... It's more likely that it will NOT come to 1280x760's devices.

Such a shame! GDR3 doesn't bring anything great to me. Maybe the orientation mode. However, we don't have a quick settings mode (unless the shortcut can be pinned) so...

May be you need to use Multi-Tasking more to know why GDR3 is important

For those asking-- 3rd column in start (and all the other related UI changes throughout OS) are for LARGE SCREEN devices only (w 1080p).

I thought there might be a bit of hope for 720 res devices as the 1320 has more tiles but is the same res...

Microsoft should just provide DEFAULT 6 (toggle setting optional) small tiles for 5" and up, a toggle for 4.5-<5" and a toggle for 5 (FIVE) small tiles for 4.3" devices. Devices under 4.3" should remain as they are.

That way, everyone will be happy, utility will be improved and utilisation would not be hampered.

It can be done with a registry hack, but all it does is shrink the size of the tiles so you can fit more on screen.
Currently only the ativ s can have this hack, but if someone manages to get a registry editor to work on all windows phones it would be easy to do this:

I had a chance to see Black software new phone Nokia and they sed that its not coming to lumia 1020, only full HD devices.. Its because the resolution.
