India App Store Issue

Which kind of rule is that? Any Indian can't buy an application from Windows Store without credit card. Is it right? 98% of the Indians including me use debit card. We don't have any credit card. Some other option should have been given to Indians to buy apps. Only single option is available here.. Credit card!!!!! Why any other option has not been given to us? Why India is being marginalized like that way? Are we not human beings? Do we not have right to buy any app? Or India doesn't need to be given any attention? It can be neglected? Plz reply.

I have no idea why Microsoft has this policy..

Calm down dude I'm sure there must be other issues... Microsoft means business n in business you must focus on sale ... Even I own debit card n net banking n never bought or felt need of buying an app so far...

Not sure what kind of reply you're expecting - this is a web forum, not Microsoft. Perhaps you should contact them? You could also try buying Xbox live cards - they give credit to your account and you can use that to pay for apps. I'm surprised debit card don't work, especially given that most use the visa payment system... Not sure what else to say.

But yeah... Gift cards. Any Microsoft card will do. Xbox even, those are the most widely distributed.
