I have never understood this volume concern. Why on earth would anyone want a thousand different volumes??

My wife has an android and is constantly annoyed at the different volumes she needs to adjust just to do something simple like show me a YouTube video.

I find it kind of annoying but dealing with it. Coming from Symbian I would set my volume for each operation and leave it ( never had to mess with it again) . Every time I do GPS on my 920 I find myself raising the volume and the loudspeaker too, but then my ringer gets loud. Why couldn't they at least separate a few of the operations.

Lol. I hope you're not serious. Try using navigation and playing music, or wanting your ring tone volume to be low and alarm the next morning to be loud.
